Scordaturns are one of 2 intelligent sound races native to the Tumult.

Appearance and traits[edit | edit source]

Scordaturns will typically manifest as predictable sounds that bear quick, almost discordant, and often indescribable notes.[1]

Society and Culture[edit | edit source]

Scordaturns usually prefer to be alone or at least in small groups and often seem content to be isolated within their own thoughts rather than "constantly gossiping" (a term they use to describe the grazions) Scordaturns tend to be either loners, explorers, rebels, or even criminals within the Tumult.

They obviously wouldn't classify themselves as miscreants, like the grazions would do, instead seeing themselves as breaking from the status quo and trying out new and different things. They're drawn to dangerous locales, which unfortunately is why there happen to be fewer of them - as many have died while exploring the Graveyards, as well as trying to infiltrate the Quietude.

Scordaturns will keep outposts near technically unexplored areas, near several graveyards, and even along the slowly expanding region of the Quietude. A few of them will reside on the same resonance islands where grazions live, like Symphony, but only for a few months at a time so as to accomplish some goal or, more than likely, if they ever get bored.[2]
