This small, heavy tube seems heavier than its materials of amethyst, glass, and bronze would suggest. Its metal is etched with indecipherable symbols, and when you stare through it, as if through a spyglass, the shapes you see lurk just beyond your comprehension. It is tempting to linger and gaze longer at these unhappy forms.
