The Haunted Tower is a large, vacated structure that sits along the Titanic Ridge.

Background[edit | edit source]

Perched near the Rhimas Tower, the so-called "Haunted Tower" holds no signs of habitation, lacking in lights, humans, and even overlords. Ropes and rigged ladders are the only things covering its exterior. Despite a still-active gate residing at the tower's apex like all the others, it serves no other purpose than as a base portal. Those that choose to use the gate for hunting have to ascend and descend from it everyday however they can manage it.[1]

Shadows[edit | edit source]

Befitting its name, the tower has become infested with shadows. Supposedly what humans call them, they hold no physical form but appear like regular shadows, just without the figure casting them. On occasion, they can look like everyday people or objects, but other times they can twist and writhe so disquietingly that someone can risk going mad by just watching them.

The "shadows" nest near the entrance to the tower. Luckily, just like regular shadows, they seem highly susceptible to light. Thus, humans will bring lights in with them to banish the shadows while they pass through.[2]

The Gate Chamber[edit | edit source]

The chamber at the top holds nothing but a gate that leads to the dimension of Trytherhon.[3]
